I can't tell you the excitement we all felt as we drove along World Drive approaching the Contemporary. I knew that the resort was walking distance to the Magic Kingdom, but I guess I wasn't picturing it to be this close!!!! I felt like a kid as we came up after the last underpass and could see Cinderellas Castle, Space Mountain and our hotel. We were cheering and clapping like 2 year old (well one of us was a two year old). Sooooo FUN!!!
Bay Lake Tower is a new addition at DW. It was just finished in August, so everything was brand spankin' new and it rocked. Just to add to excitement, Jacqui and Hudson had already arrived. She was stunned when we knocked on the door, and we weren't room service. The girls were soooo excited to see Hudson, they were instantly chasing each other and running around and hugging, and we arrived just in time for some Pizza.
The views from our hotel room were fantastic. Looking out on Bay Lake. We also had great views from the viewing deck that was located on our floor.
It wasn't long before we had made our grocery run and the rest of the Chappells arrived!!! It was so great to see everyone and be together again.
