HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HUDSON, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. His birthday was actually the week before, but today was his birthday celebration.
We started off the day at the Bay Lake Tower Kids Club for some arts, crafts and games before our reservation at Chef Mickey.
It was nice that we could just walk over to Chef Mickey's as the restaurant was right in our hotel. And the importance of Celebrating Hudson's birthday here, seeing the Characters!!!

There certainly wasn't very much of a wait before the Characters started coming to our table. Talk about excitement!!!!!
The first character to greet us - Chef Donald.
Next up, Pluto. (Uncle Jay had fun with him!)
Okay everyone, lets maybe have a little bit to eat here, uh, nope, wait a minute, here comes MICKEEEEEEEEY!!!
I can't even put in to words how excited Emily was at this meal. It was the best ever watching her having the time of her life. Just imagine her belting out MICKEEEEEY! in this photo.
She was searching for them, calling for them, so excited to see them. But mostly still from more than 5 feet away. If you notice in all the pictures with the characters, she was still pretty tentative when they got up close!
Riley was pretty darn excited too!!
Then came GOOFY - grandma Mary's Favorite -tee hee!
And last but not least, Minnie. And this was a special moment for Hudson - I think someone likes Minnie!!! Emily got in a few nose kisses too (and a game of peek-a-boo).
In the afternoon we made our way over to Hollywood Studios. The kids often played musical strollers. This time up it was Emily and Jon Owen.
We had to stop for Riley to take in a showing of High School Musical, one of her favorite shows of the moment.
After that we met back up with the Chappells for a visit to 'The Magic of Disney Animation' attraction, which is an all time favorite of Lauren's. Well I think my girls are now hooked on this too. The Magic of Disney Animation is an informative 20-minute show at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park where Guests of all ages are invited to discover the process of creating animated characters. Today we learned how to draw GOOFY. The kids were absorbed and they all did a fantastic job. Even Emily was into it.

We also were able to see Russell, Dug and Kevin from the Movie "UP", another nice surprise for the girls who adore that movie.
Also in the Animation Courtyard you will find Playhouse Disney Live on stage (which I hear will be once again re-vitalized and changing its name to Disney Junior Live on Stage with some more new characters). We have always made a stop here for the small kids - they always love it and join in the fun. I still think the big kids like it too :)
Hollywood Studios is just a fun place to cruise around and look at the sights. There are always random characters floating around like the Green Soldier from toy story and the PIXAR light which at random put on a little show.

The Chaotic, but oh so fun, 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure' is also a must, but you have to have an adult at each exit and an adult with each kid, in fear of losing one.
This year the must see character greeting was with Lightning McQueen and Mator from Cars, especially for the birthday boy!! These cars were quit neat with moving eyes and revin' engines. Cool stuff boys and girls.
Hollywood studios is where Riley was catapolted into her now obsession over Star Wars. She thought the Star Tours was the coolest ride ever. It is a full motion flight simulator attraction based on the movie, guided by C3P0. I was so excited to hear that for 2011 it is being revamped and you'll be able to experience the ride in 3-D!!! At the time of this trip, Jon Owen was the Star Wars enthusiast. He missed the opportunity for Jedi training this time, but he did meet with the Dark Lord.

And one more adorable shot of the birthday boy with Minnie.
