Big Kids Night Out!!

Yes we were able to have our adult nights out. We had 2 of them actually. The first night out was literally at our doorstep. Dinner for four at the California Grill. Disney's description - "Disney’s California Grill is one of Disney World's crown jewel restaurants, and has won numerous local, national, and international awards for its cuisine and service. The restaurant is located on the tippy top 15th floor of the Contemporary Resort, and offers a panoramic view of Disney World and Orlando from its nearly floor to ceiling windows." I'd agree with that.

We definitely had a fun night out. Jay and Jacqui always make Kris and I laugh in hysterics. We were adventurous on this night ordering platters of delicious sushi and sharing our large portioned main courses.

We also looked nice, seeing as it was had a dress code (mainly for the boys). So Jacqui, if you do have a pictures please send one along :)
We also made it up to the Bay Lake Tower 'Top of the World' lounge for some drinks and spectacular views of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks from the amazing observation deck.

We also had the unfortunate opportunity of watch a "way-to-overtired-why-do-you-have-him-at-a-bar-at-this-hour" toddler run full speed smack into a wall, twice.
Oh well, it did make for some unexpected evening entertainment. I was also made fun of for having a glow in the dark drink with and light up icecube called a blue glowtini. Sorry for the embarrasment guys, but it was darn good!!!

Once again Chappells, thanks for a fun night.
On our next night out we hopped on a monorail over to the Polynesian Village. This Hawian themed resort had a super cool vibe. We ended up curling into these fab cozy club chairs and ordering huge pinapple drinks and enjoying them in front of the big screen cheering for Team Canada as they made their way to the finals in mens hockey. Who would have thought this would have been how our night would unfold. Just another great time, full of laughs.
