Monday, Feb. 22 - EPCOT

Posting a year later I have to rely on pictures to refresh my memory, so if I mix up a few of the specifics, I apologize, but this is how I remember it. A punctual blogger wouldn't have these issues, but a punctual blogger I am not.
On this monday we left Papa and Grandma behind and headed over to EPCOT. To beat the lines we headed straight over to Test Track to grab fast passes, but today, we didn't need one, there was not too much of a line so it was all aboard. Well, not me, but a rider switch pass and a very eager Riley fixed that up in a flash. This was Riley's first time on Test Track, an already favorite amoung the Chappells, and she LOVED it!! She came out cheering and wanted to re board immediately with me. I had also missed out on this ride in years past, so I was eager to be a Crash Test Dummy myself. Wooo Hoooo! This ride rocked!!
Here is how Disney Describes it : "As you begin this 5-minute, nearly one-mile auto escapade, strap yourself in, ascend steep terrain that's 3 stories high, then let loose downhill, blasting across a bumpy road and roaring through 50-degree banked curves and hair-pin turns that test suspension and brakes at speeds up to 60 miles per hour! Zoom into the environmental chamber to endure the extreme heat and cold tests—at temperatures that are 100 degrees apart! Then, see if your vehicle will withstand corrosion when robots mist water upon it. Finally, face the challenge of avoiding a crash barrier… in the nick of time!"

We also had time for a stop at "Nemo and Friends" before lunch. This was Emily's time to be totally absorbed and enthralled. She is a HUGE Nemo fan, and I doubt she remembered much from last year.

Riley was the chosen one along with Lauren this year during Turtle Talk with Crush. It never fails, these girls are just always picked. Hopefully next year the boys will get a turn :)
I can't remember the conversation this time, but I know it was cute.

We were off to the San Angel Inn at the Mexico Pavillion for lunch. One of our favorite restaurants. Last year it was a fun night with adults only, this year we brought the kids. What a fantastic lunch. The kids had so much fun here, and it was a really great spot to just hang out. And we got to ride The Three Cabelleros Gran Fiesta tour when we were finished.

Then it was time to embark on one of our coolest Disney Adventures yet!!! Disney's Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure. Disney's Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure is an ultra-interactive quest at Epcot theme park based on the Disney Channel animated series, Kim Possible. This interactive game transforms you into secret agents as you join Team Possible and help save the world from super-villains with the help of a high-tech "Kimmunicator". Sounds cool doesn't it - well it was!! Here is Disney's description. 'Upon reporting for duty, recruits receive their super-secret Kimmunicators — interactive, handheld, cell-phone-like devices that help maneuver agents through their mission. Using state-of-the-art technology, your Kimmunicator will connect agents with a variety of Kim Possible characters who will provide clues to help stop super villains from carrying out their dastardly plans. Guests of all ages can become secret agents. You'll receive your mission assignment and be sent out to thwart evildoers'. The "Kimmunicator" is super cool. It would tell the "agents" where to go next and where to find clues. At each clue station, the environment would interact with them at a push of the button "smoke would immerge, trees would die or come to life, toys in the toy store would come "alive" and talk and move with no warning ( a little scary for the girls, but so super cool at the same time). I'm telling you. Last year the Kidcot FUNSTOPS were the hit, which we did do again with the World Showcase Passports, but the Kim Possible Mission was the BOMB - woo hoo! We will definitely do again, they were so into it.
